8 Ways to Add Gold to Your Kitchen

Gold is everywhere in home decor lately but this shouldn't be too much of a surprise since gold is drop dead gorgeous. My favorite are gold accents in the kitchen, but sometimes it can be overwhelming on where to start and add gold. The good news for you is that I narrowed it down to 8 specific ways to add gold to a kitchen and a hundred eye candy photos to drool over as you read.

1. Hardware

Hardware can make a huge impact on the overall look of your kitchen. Changing out hardware can be a fairly easy project and can be even be done on a small budget.

2. Faucets

Add gold to one of the most used items in your kitchen. The sink is where I spent most of my time doing dishes, dinner prep and washing my hands 100 times a day. How beautiful would it be to look at a gorgeous gold faucet all day.

3. Accessories

If you were wanting to try a pop of red in your living room, you would most likely add a red throw pillow. Use that same idea with gold in the kitchen, but instead of a pillow, through the small accessories: a vase, a frame, trays, organizers, and even utensils.

4. Lighting

"Light is the magical ingredient that makes or breaks a space; it’s one of the most important elements in all my interiors."[quote by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz] Make a statement with a gorgeous gold light or lights.

5. Furniture

Adding a gold bar stool or gold metal to a small island would be a great way to add gold in the kitchen. Accent furniture is a great approach for renters to add gold because the result isn't permanent to the home.

6. Appliances

Don't overlook appliances. They are large and take up the majority of the kitchen but they can have gold too. Just be sure that you love it before you buy because it can be an expensive purchase to add this touch of gold.

7. Mix It Up

Can't decide if you want a gold kitchen yet? Good news, you can still mix and match metals. I promise it is possible and can look great. Incorporating a pop of gold among a room full of silver can look amazing. Take a look at these kitchens below to see how you can have the best of both worlds.
